In 1985, DIEHL Eric graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Electronique et Radio-électricité de Grenoble (ENSERG).

Since October 2014, he is VP of security and media technology at Sony Pictures Entertainment. He explores security solutions as well as new paradigms of content consumption and production. Previously, he founded and led for 16 years the Technicolor Security Laboratories. This team of 33 experts designed technologies such as advanced key management, audio and video watermark, video fingerprinting, network security, and secure coding.

He filed more than 95 patents in security, Pay TV, and User Interface. He published many papers and one book dedicated to DRM (Securing Digital Video, Springer, 2012).
