The TWDC Sensitive Information Protection group serves as a center of excellence for enterprise and segment specific requirements relating to the proactive protection of the company’s most sensitive information assets. The group embeds resources within segments that create highly valuable information, and coordinates with segment staff in order to design, implement, manage, and optimize programs specific to these segment requirements and business objectives.

The Manager Sensitive Information Protection – Disney Direct To Consumer & International (DTCI), reports into the Director, Sensitive Information Protection – The Walt Disney Company, based in Burbank and is responsible for establishing, planning, managing, and driving Sensitive Information Protection projects and operational activities in support of the DTCI Segment of the company.

This role will be initiating the Sensitive Information Protection’s portfolio of services in the segment, working closely with other team members across the company.

Responsibilities:

* Define, develop and implement the segment’s Sensitive Information Protection program, in coordination with the various other existing programs (Studios Content & Information Security, Media Networks Sensitive Information Protection, Parks, Experience & Products Sensitive Information Protection)

* Identify, build and maintain relationships with program stakeholders and key operational contacts. These relationships must be utilized to collect information relating to the effectiveness of existing services, and opportunities to better support these groups through service enhancement or implementation of additional services, within or complementary to the Sensitive Information Protection steering committee / governance framework.

* Ensure risks to sensitive information within the segment are quantified, visible to appropriate stakeholders, and that appropriate measures are put in place to address risk in accordance with the central Sensitive Information Protection framework

* Providing updates to stakeholders to identifying and communicating accomplishments or risks on various levels, such as at an activity, project, pillar or program level, as required for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting

* Responsible for managing and ensuring the quality of services provided by the TWDC Sensitive Information Protection team, including but not limited to Sensitive Information Workflow Assessments, Policy Management, and Training & Awareness programs

* Participate in the strategic planning of Sensitive Information Protection services and identify opportunities to better service the requirements of our stakeholders

Specific responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

* Ensure Sensitive Information Protection Policy Management, Sensitive Information Workflow Assessments and Training/Awareness related programs support the needs of the business units and efficiently support internal TWDC Sensitive Information Protection operations

* Manage segment specific Sensitive Information (e.g. media) Workflow Assessments

* Support the generation, implementation and maintenance of training materials to ensure that Sensitive Information Protection stakeholders fully understand their responsibilities in relation to training and awareness of their teams

* Manage segment Training/Awareness programs and perform related trainings

* Manage and support segment’s Sensitive Information Protection Communities (Guardians)

* Oversee; in coordination with segment’s Information Security Offices; Site Security and Application Security Programs’ projects (i.e. Software Development) and aid to make these global programs’ assessments consistent and effective according to DTCI Sensitive Information Protection policies and standards

* Ensure that all DTCI Sensitive Information Protection projects are managed and delivered within a predetermined and agreed timeline, scope and budget;

* Implement and maintain a centralized work plan for all operational activities and projects, and provide an appropriate avenue (status meetings, one on one’s, written updates, etc.) to gather and collate status updates from team members

* Manage relationships with third party vendors, as necessary, in order to support relevant projects;

* Collaborate and coordinate effectively with relevant business units and third-party associations, such as the CDSA, MPAA, TPN in order to foster cross-studio synergies and standardization of security best practices

Basic Qualifications:

* Expertise in strategy development and presentation to management

* At least eight years’ experience successfully managing technical projects from inception through completion, leveraging a variety of project management skills and methodologies

* At least eight years’ experience transforming requirements into a final deliverable

* At least five years’ experience successfully aggregating complex, diverse and sometimes contradictory elements into a comprehensive strategy

* At least three years’ experience in media and media security related fields

* Ability to work in a fast-evolving global environment

* Passion for new technologies, trends and constant learning

* Track record of delivering projects in scope, on time, and on budget

* Solid business acumen

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization

* Strong project management skills with track record of delivering projects in scope, on time, and on budget

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP certification is a plus
CISSP, CISM certifications are a plus
