Hulu’s Data team is seeking a Senior Data Solution Delivery Lead who will be an exceptional addition to our growing team. As a Senior Data Solution Delivery Lead at Hulu, you will be responsible for leading a team of full stack software developers and data engineers to deliver high-quality scalable enterprise data solutions and data services that meet data, reporting and analytical needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and technical skills to champion and implement data governance, data integrity, data engineering standards, data integration, and QA best practices. You will partner closely with data product manager to understand requirements, provide technical guidance to the team and ensure timely delivery of quality solutions. WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead full stack software developers, data engineers, data modeler and QA to deliver on data solution and services, data warehouse and data marts
Lead database development, data modeling, integration and ETL in RDBMS and NoSQL environments
Develop software engineering best practices, guidelines, procedures, and repeatable and scalable frameworks
Collaborate and partner with data product manager to understand roadmap and ensure timely delivery and acceptance of features and solutions
Ensure operational and delivery efficiency, SLAs and oversee Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for critical applications
Lead the agile/scrum practice to ensure heath and process improvements for your team
Collaborate with data and solution architects to implement high-quality, performant, scalable data architecture and information management framework
Document, automate and enforce data quality, data integrity, and QA best practices
Manage prioritization and allocation of resources to optimize delivery
Coach and mentor junior members of the team and provide best data practices for data analysts

WHAT TO BRING

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to build and develop teams
Highly motivated self-starter with a bias to action and a passion for delivering high quality data solutions
Attention to detail and quality with excellent problem solving and communication skills
Expert knowledge of SDLC, data engineering, data modeling, data warehousing and big data platforms
Deep technical expertise in EDW methodologies, ETL, security, database optimization for query tuning
Strong project management skills and experience with agile/scrum
Expertise in SQL, Python and other programming languages, UNIX/Linux, Informatica or other ETL tools
Experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Redshift, Snowflake, other)
5+ years of software development experience
2+ years of hands-on experience with big data ecosystem (Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Spark, Kafka)
BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Management or related field

Industry experience in video streaming and OTT
MS in Computer Science, Information Management or related field
