July 11, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am BST

MESA Europe Breakfast Briefing
Virtual & Augmented Reality

Courthouse Hotel, Great Marlborough St, London, W1F 7HL, 11th July 2017

Making a Commercial Success of Virtual Reality

The entertainment industry continues to be among the frontrunners in embracing the opportunities presented by both VR and AR, with broadcasters, programme makers and games companies all poised to take the next steps in delivering an enhanced and more immersive experience to their customers. The technologies and creative tools required to enable a Virtual Reality experience are advancing at a rapid rate, while at the same time becoming accessible to a wider range of programme producers. As a result, the whole business is set to show significant growth over the months and years ahead.

During this second annual VR/AR breakfast briefing, produced by MESA Europe, we will dig deep into what is shaping the future outlook and focus in detail on where the commercial opportunities will unfold. We will also review the key product and technology milestones that have been reached and lay out a timeline for the future evolution of Virtual Reality in the Entertainment space.

A number of senior industry executives and sector experts will participate in this open exchange of information and experience, drawing on some real case study examples that help demonstrate what VR and AR can actually mean to both the industry at large and the end user. Keynote contributor and lead sponsor, Nokia, will be among the global leaders in VR sharing their ideas and vision.
