Introduction

Traditional practices in the preparation and distribution of entertainment content are under constant review as the industry adapts to the changing Market and Business environment.Content Supply Chain Sponsor

Advances in technology are also a key factor, both in terms of the impact on the content and distribution platforms and the role technology plays as an enabler, offering improved systems and processes.

Right now there are two key strands of focus for the industry, although both are intrinsically linked.

The first is on driving efficiencies in digital distribution, with end to end workflows under the microscope, as content owners and distributors, along with their industry partners strive to take time and cost out of the process.

The second, but no less important, is a focus on delivering the next generation in quality, through UHD, HDR, enhanced audio and a range of other technology developments all centred on enhancing the consumer experience.

During the Content Supply Chain Seminar, delegates will be invited to participate in a series of informed presentations and panel sessions as well as open floor discussion.

Unique content identifiers are not new but the benefits of having a simple and standardised approach are becoming more widely recognised as content distribution embraces more partners. Despite this, however, the value proposition for different use cases is only now beginning to proliferate globally.
