8th March, 2 -5.30 pm

Introduction

In March 2015 MESA Europe hosted a highly successful industry workshop on Content Localisation, following
a number of requests from its Content Community Advisory Board.Content Localiation Sponsors

Key among the discussion points during the afternoon session were the growing pressures that are being felt, right across the value chain, from reducing release windows and the growing number of distribution points.

Following the success of this event and the shared learnings that emerged, MESA Europe is delighted to announce the second annual Content Localisation Workshop to be held in London on the afternoon of Tuesday 8th March.

This is a closed, industry only workshop, with a strictly limited number of participants.

“The workshop format has proven extremely popular with our members and our regular industry participants who welcome the opportunity to talk about their experiences, share frustrations as well as successes and give voice to ideas that can genuinely benefit the industry as a whole” said David Millar, Communications Director at MESA Europe. “What is really heartening is that many people who took part in last year’s workshop have been instrumental in encouraging us to re-convene, for an update and deeper dive into some of the key challenges the industry faces” he added.

Underlining this point is the fact that last year’s lead sponsor, BTI, has again committed to supporting the event.

Round Table Working Group 1: Where Does the Answer Lie?

Tables, consisting of up to 10 industry participants, across a range of different interest groups, will be invited to discuss their views and real live experiences in order to assess whether there is a single answer to the equation outlined above. Is there anything that can be done, now or in the future, that will significantly change the value of the individual factors or the overall result?
