Chief Product Officer,
Alejandro Otero has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry with a heavy focus in post-production servicing. After graduating from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts with a BA in Film Production, Alejandro came onboard at Sony’s DVD Center where he had a variety of roles. In 2004 he joined Radius60 Studios and worked to create the digital and creative servicing division of the company. Alex also worked closely with Radius60’s development team to create custom applications and workflows to meet the needs of the industry’s rapidly changing distribution landscape. Having joined Pixelogic through its acquisition of Radius60 in the fall of 2016, Alex took on the role of managing the Digital Distribution & Mastering pipelines and leading the vision of the company’s product development.
In addressing the ever-evolving landscape of media and entertainment content delivery requirements, as Pixelogic’s Chief Product Officer, Alex has played a lead role in building the company’s unique end-to-end localization and distribution platform called pHelix. This platform employs AI and Machine Learning that automates many post production processes that until now have been strictly manual, and enables efficient collaboration across hundreds of Pixelogic employees and thousands of subcontracted translators, and deep supply chain integration with Pixelogic’s studio, network and platform customers.
