NBC’s go-to counter-terrorism analyst and the founder and CEO of personal safety organization Stiletto Agency have been revealed as the Content Protection Summit East keynote speakers at the July 25 Media & Entertainment Day event in New York City.
Roger Cressey, NBC’s counter-terrorism analyst and former presidential advisor, kicks things off during the day-long program, with his keynote “Managing Cyber Risk in an Interconnected Workplace is Everyone’s Responsibility.”
He’ll explain how today’s cybersecurity requirements extend beyond traditional IT networks, and instead need to include a combined focus on individual approaches and corporate strategy and structure. With M&E increasingly moving to native digital workflows, interdependencies between networks, devices, and users are being created. And as corporate governance and expanding business units are challenged with increasingly long lists of security and privacy challenges, Cressey will show why the threat environment is only one part of the equation.
Also in the program for the Content Protection Summit East is Shelley Klingerman, author and CEO and founder of the personal safety organization Stiletto Agency, with her keynote “Protecting the Most Important Asset … YOU!” She’ll offer the audience ideas on how to protect yourself during corporate business travel, and share advice on how scenario exposure and training can mitigate risks. Arming yourself with basic safety tactics can potentially keep you out of harm’s way and may prevent a crisis situation.
