With nearly 20 years of experience in networking and storage engineering, Bernhard is a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft actively working with the Avere technology. He focuses on distributed / scalable filesystems, Linux clustering, HPC storage, and performance measurement of the NFS and SMB protocols. Having joined Avere in late 2008, Bernhard contributed in the design, build-out and tuning of large-scale render farms for nearly all of Avere’s M&E customers. Previously, Bernhard was a staff engineer at NetApp, working on the ONTAP GX Scale-Out clustered storage system.
