Wendy Frank is a Principal in PwC’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice focused on technology, copyright infringement, content security, brand protection and cybersecurity. Ms. Frank has extensive experience with media and entertainment organizations, internet service providers, online service providers, and multi system operators. She is a leading authority on technology and security for over 25 years, and has counseled senior leadership at Fortune 500 companies, as well as at government agencies. Ms. Frank provides business-focused, results-oriented solutions leveraging technology and security. Ms. Frank’s experience ranges from strategic planning to business improvement; from security and technology evaluation to management and design; from education and training to the leadership and coaching aspects of technology and security. Her background includes a working knowledge of many industries and proven leadership skills at executive, managerial and technical levels. Her core competencies are Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), global copyright infringement, brand protection, as well as technology and security, project management, security and technology analysis and feasibility studies, content security, security and technology strategy, and technology and security architecture and design for complex, enterprise systems. Ms. Frank’s focus is putting a strong business emphasis on all assignments while maintaining a deep commitment to delivering added value to management and operational personnel so that benefits are maintained for the long term. Prior to joining PwC, Ms Frank was the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Leader of the Content Security Program for the Motion Picture Association of America. During her tenure at MPAA, Ms. Frank completely revised the MPAA Content Security Best Practices Common Guidelines, and she also created the MPAA Content Security Best Practices for Application and Cloud Security. In addition to the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) credentials, and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Ms. Frank has held multiple certifications from Microsoft (MCSE, MCT) and IBM/Lotus. She is a member of ISC(2), ISACA, and IAPP, and is a frequent presenter at leading organizations globally.
