CDSA Content Protection & Cybersecurity Summit Comes to NAB Show

LAS VEGAS — The Board of the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) has announced that it will be producing a new installment of its popular Cyber Security & Content Protection Summit series in cooperation with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), just prior to the NAB Show on April 8 at the Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas.

The event has been conveniently scheduled Sunday afternoon from 1 – 6 p.m., the day before opening of NAB’s show floor and exhibits, as part of the NAB Show’s official conference program. To address the information needs of the NAB attendee audience, the half-day program will provide valuable technology and business updates on cyber security and anti-piracy initiatives in film and television, and will, for the first time, serve the unique content protection needs of television broadcasters.

“Whether it’s film, subscription or broadcast TV, media & entertainment is a high-level target for global piracy. CDSA’s Summit series is where experts who protect our industry’s most valuable assets, our content, learn, network and share best practices,” says CDSA President, Martin Porter.

A preliminary program outline includes sessions on:

  • Auditing third-party vendors
  • Securing cloud production
  • Turning pirates into paying customers
  • Protecting against ransomware
  • Hardening your workflows
  • Securing your internal operations
