TransPerfect’s InterAct platform — which enables interpreter booking and streamlined management of calls requiring interpretation — has been chosen by software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider to support translation and interpretation for expert networking engagements across 14 languages, the companies announced.
Lynk, whose platform “powers the knowledge economy,” connects people with time-sensitive and business-critical questions to a community of 630,000-plus experts in more than 80 countries. That platform requires hundreds of hours of over-the-phone interpretations every year, in order to facilitate engagements between clients and members of its expert network.
In order to tackle those language needs, Lynk has licensed TransPerfect’s InterAct platform, giving all users and interpreters the ability to facilitate and manage interpretation assignments. TransPerfect InterAct will provide Lynk around-the-clock coverage worldwide, along with automated client and interpreter notifications, full calendar visibility and customizable reporting.
