Chesapeake Systems, Signiant Expand Partnership

Systems integrator and support provider Chesapeake Systems has announced it will become an official reseller of Signiant’s intelligent file transfer products, after having already worked as a Signiant SI partner for several years.

The expanded partnership comes due to Signiant’s relationships with key MAM technology partners of Chesapeake Systems and of StorExcel, the company Chesapeake Systems acquired this April.

Chesapeake will be an authorized reseller of all Signiant products, including the enterprise-grade SaaS solution Media Shuttle, automated and accelerated system-to-system file movement service Manager+Agents, SaaS large data solution Signiant Flight, and automated content exchange offering Signiant Jet.

“Signiant’s intelligent file transfer products are mission-critical to media workflows and Signiant is seen as an innovator in the use of cloud technology across the industry. This partnership will enable Chesapeake to bring Signiant’s market leading products to its top tier media customers,” said Lance Hukill, VP of sales for Chesapeake Systems. “In addition, Signiant has proven to be a very easy company to do business with making them a great partner for us.”

Robert Browne, Signiant’s VP of global technology alliances, added: “We’re proud to partner with great companies like Chesapeake Systems. Signiant has an API-First approach to its enterprise software so that we can easily connect our products with any systems and cloud services. Partners like Chesapeake who are able to work closely with their customers, understand complex workflows and combine best-of-breed technologies to provide complete solutions are a critical part of the media ecosystem and it’s great to expand our relationship in this way.”
