MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: April 27-May 1

A Sony Ci webinar with major media and entertainment companies, a bevy of dedicated tech talks from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Caringo, MarkLogic and more are ready to walk digital attendees through their latest solutions.

Those are just a few of the online events members of the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA) will be holding the week of April 27-May 1, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Monday

• The AWS Online Tech Talk series continues with a trip of presentations: “Best Practices for Modernizing On-Premise Big Data Workloads Using Amazon EMR,” “Understanding Game Changes and Player Behavior with Graph Databases,” and “Assess, Migrate, and Modernize from Legacy Databases to AWS: Oracle to Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL Migration.”

Tuesday

• A full-day program awaits those attending the “Digital Alibaba Cloud Day EMEA” webinar series.

• The first of three straight days of “Virtual Zendesk Training” begins, with “Zendesk Support for Admins, I and II.”

• AWS Online Tech Talks continue with a pair of presentations: “Implementing SAP in the Cloud with AWS Tools and Services,” and “Choosing Events, Queues, Topics, and Streams in Your Serverless Application.”

• Caringo’s weekly Tech Tuesday webinar will land on the subject of “Hardware Selection for Object Storage.”

Wednesday

• The second of three straight days of “Virtual Zendesk Training” occurs with “Deep Dives in Zendesk Support.”

• MarkLogic will spend midday Wednesday sharing ideas around “Building Agile Data Pipeline on NoSQL Data for BI and Analytics.”

• A virtual NAB Show tour will include Caringo and what it shared during what would have been NAB week.

• Alibaba Cloud hosts two more webinars: “Introducing Open Application Model: Bring Best User Experience to K8s,” and “Engage Your Audience with Video Cloud.”

Thursday

• Thursday will see three media companies and customers of Sony Ci media cloud platform share the ways they use Ci’s real-time LiveSession feature for remote collaboration, in the webinar “How CBS News, WGBH and Sony Pictures Solved Real-Time WFH Collaboration.”

• The final of three straight days of “Virtual Zendesk Training” wraps up with “Zendesk Explore, I and II.”

• Sony will host its webinar “Powering Creativity – Live Your Vision.”

• The Entertainment Technology Center (ETC@USC) will host an “Unpack the Future” M&E event, featuring presentations from several MESA members, including Microsoft Azure, Avid, Teradici, Independent Security Evaluators (ISE), Technicolor, Eluvio and Prime Focus Technologies.
