Hollywood Innovation and Technology Summit (HITS) Spring Goes Live May 27

This year’s Hollywood Innovation and Technology Summit (HITS) Spring event — the industry’s annual gathering of media and entertainment’s CIOs and top technology minds— is going virtual May 27.

HITS Live will feature two hours of main-stage programming, as well as the popular HITS Innovation & Technology breakout session series, which will explore the industry’s biggest technology shifts, covering how traditional IT is impacting programming, productions, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) services.

From the ways IT is changing approaches to data gathering and learning, to ideas on how to maximize the value of new collaboration tools, this year’s HITS Spring program will have a global audience hearing from keynoters and panelists sharing how current events have changed IT in the industry forever.

HITS Live is programmed under the guidance of the Content Advisors of the Hollywood IT Society, which includes Steve Andujar, EVP and CIO of Sony Pictures Entertainment; John Herbert, EVP and CIO of Fox Corporation; Steve Lapinski, CIO of filmed entertainment for NBCUniversal; and Theresa Miller, EVP CIO of Lionsgate.

HITS Live is produced by the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA) and the Hollywood IT Society (HITS), in association with the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) and the Smart Content Council. Microsoft Azure is the title sponsor.
