Tape Ark to Talk Cloud Migration at Smart Content Summit

For the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, making its content accessible while also preserving it for future generations hasn’t been the easiest thing, considering how much video content is trapped on both decaying tape media and obsolete infrastructure.

Tape Ark’s Kyle Evans, director of sales, will speak on how his company safely restored more than 2,800 hours (350 TB) of preservation-level video files for Rock Hall’s Library of Archives, and ingested the content into the public cloud, March 4 at the Smart Content Summit in L.A.
