edgescan Marks Six Years, Rolls Out New Features (HITS)

January marked the sixth anniversary of cybersecurity firm edgescan, and the company already has updates to its platform in store for 2020. Born in 2014, out of frustration with the direction the security industry, edgescan aims to bridge the gap between technical vulnerability and business risk, all while keeping pace with the increasing rate of change of risk, technology and the overall cyber landscape.
Over the next few weeks, edgescan plans on rolling out some new features, including:
• API Discovery: Detect deployed API’s across your entire estate continuously to avoid API blind spots.
• API Vulnerability Management: Automatically assess APIs for security vulnerabilities, keeping pace with change continuously.
• New UI: An enhanced user interface for easier interaction and user friendliness.
