Synamedia Partners with World Wide Technology, USSI Global (MESA)

Independent video software provider Synamedia Jan. 21 announced a pair of new tech partnerships, including an international partnership with technology and supply chain service provider World Wide Technology (WWT), and a strategic partnership with USSI Global, a provider of network, broadcast and digital media services.

With WWT, Synamedia is working with that company on sales and delivery management, with Synamedia’s video products and solutions being provided to WWT’s customers. WWT’s network with augment the distribution of Synamedia products to satellite, cable, telco and OTT operators, as well as broadcasters and media companies worldwide.

“Through our partnership with WWT, our customers will benefit from the great service, system integration, and logistics management capabilities WWT has built its brand on,” said Dave Longaker, SVP and GM of Americas for Synamedia. “Leveraging WWT’s international reach and their strong technical expertise and experience with our award-winning portfolio, our partner program and work together will be focused both on reaching new customers as well as strengthening our relationships with existing customers by providing an expanded set of solutions and services.”

Meanwhile, USSI will provide technical and logistics support, as well as fulfillment and deployment services for both new and existing Synamedia video network customers, with the companies also partnering on a go-to-market strategy for next-gen broadcast standard ATSC 3.0.

USSI will offer systems integration services, covering factory testing, deployment and installation, for customers of Synamedia’s PowerVu distribution systems, and logistics, fulfillment and signal authorization services for users of Synamedia’s D9800 Network Transport Receiver.
