Sony Electronics Dec. 3 debuted its TEOS suite of workplace management solutions for audio-visual, IT and facilities managers, offering a smart workplace solution that covers devices, signage and content in most any office ecosystem.
Personalized signage, automated reception, technologies around more efficient workplace communication and collaboration, IPTV support, advanced analytics and more are included in the TEOS suite, which is available in North America this month.
“Managing the rising number of smart devices in modern corporate and education environments can be a real challenge for AV, IT and facilities managers,” said Theresa Alesso, Pro division president of Sony Electronics. “At Sony, we pride ourselves on working closely with customers and application vendors to provide them efficient workspace management solutions such as TEOS. These solutions have already proven successful in Europe with more than 200 enterprise deployments, and we know their extensive features and benefits will provide similar value to North American companies.”
The TEOS workplace management offering allows users to manage their workspace centrally, and also includes tools for mobile room-booking for employees, wayfinding capabilities, the ability to integrate videowall content, and check in visitors securely.
Add-ons to the package include TEOS Connect, which enables users to present wirelessly from laptops to Sony BRAVIA Pro Displays; TEOS Reception, a receptionist-free solution that allows visitors to announce their arrival using a tablet or interactive touchscreen; and TEOS TV, allowing for the creation and management of IPTV channels, to capture meetings, share corporate presentations and more.
TEOS is available in a dozen languages.
