Accenture Google Cloud Business Group Expands to Indonesia (MESA)

Accenture and Google Cloud announced the strategic expansion of their global partnership to build intelligent solutions and local expertise in order to help Indonesian enterprises modernize and accelerate their adoption of cloud technology.

Together, the two organizations will develop tailored offerings for Indonesian customers in three main areas: enabling multi-channel customer interactions, improving data management, and creating services for hyper-personalization in marketing, sales and services. This collaboration will also leverage Google Cloud’s data and AI capabilities, such as Accenture’s Contact Center AI (CCAI) solution, to enable end-to-end customer interaction across voice and digital channels.

Based on recent research by Accenture on “Pivoting to the Future”, a majority of companies in Indonesia agree that innovations are brought by technology, and many plans to migrate their technology infrastructure to the cloud. The research also shows that the companies being surveyed prefer to grow their existing customer base using new technologies.

“Indonesia’s growing middle class consumers is the main reason for this expansion to Indonesia,” said Seong Kim Ho, Country Managing Director for Accenture in Indonesia. “We would like to help clients enable multi-channel customer interactions and improve access to self-service and issue resolution capabilities, while decreasing the cost to service each customer.”

“AGBG combines Accenture’s extensive industry knowledge with the power of Google Cloud technology to help our customers in Indonesia solve complex technology challenges and explore new business models in a digital era,” said Tim Synan, Regional Director, Google Cloud in Southeast Asia.

With an initial emphasis on retail, consumer packaged goods and health industries, AGBG will focus on several areas including:

-Build next generation business processes with artificial intelligence and machine learning based approaches to create new value across the enterprise

-Modernize enterprise infrastructure by migrating their workloads to the cloud and provide managed services tailored for Google Cloud

-Bring global scale to clients that run SAP by delivering managed SAP solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

-Create relevant customer experiences by combining Google Marketing Platform data with other enterprise data sources, helping to find deeper insights and increasing customer engagement

-Scale G Suite across the enterprise, re-imagining work with the cloud-native productivity service that is secure, smart, and simple.

One example of this is BBVA Seguros, where Accenture is implementing SAP S/4HANA migration to Google Cloud in order to leverage the benefits of GCP’s infrastructure performance, a true consumption-based pay per second pricing, and enable innovation at scale to support BBVA Seguro’s transformation of its business models.

The collaboration will further see the launch of an Accenture Google Cloud Center of Excellence to develop solutions in high-growth areas to accelerate clients’ adoption of Google Cloud, and bring in global talent to increase capabilities of the local workforce.
