The Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA) is partnering once again with the Media Excellence Awards (MEA), which is now accepting nominees for its 12th annual awards event.
Dubbed the “Oscars of Mobile,” the MEAs honors leaders and innovation in mobile technology and entertainment, and has grown to become one of the more highly coveted technology awards program in the industry.
Premiere categories for the event include the “Humanitarian Award” for companies that impacted communities through philanthropic and social campaigns or initiatives using technology; “Breakout Trend of the Year,” awarded to a company that best challenged the use of mainstream technology; and the “Industry Star,” given to the company that has introduced innovative technologies that changed the way consumers interact with businesses.
Other award categories include wearable technology, best mobile product, gaming, entertainment-related marketing campaign, original content, branded experience, payments and commerce, analytics and big data, user experience, connected daily lifestyle, delivery platform, live streaming video, multinational company, innovator, start-up, music, entertainment apps, sports, augmented reality, virtual reality, technology breakthrough and artificial intelligence.
