Convergent Risks Adds to TPN Assessment Team (MESA)

Convergent Risks has added experienced industry executives to its Trusted Partner Network (TPN) security assessment team to meet the growing demand for assessments from post-production facilities and vendors. Leading names joining the team include UK-based Ben Bradley, previous head of technical operations at Deluxe; Laurence Claydon, previous CTO at Motion Picture Solutions; and Florida-based Jeff Gelb, previous CIO at Amblin Partners/DreamWorks. Marv Chen, previous MPAA auditor and member of the Convergent Risks team, is also now a qualified TPN assessor.

“We are delighted to welcome these respected names to our TPN assessment team,” said Nik Savchenko, VP of international at Convergent Risks. “Facilities often have quite complex infrastructure, therefore the more experience the assessor can bring, the smoother the TPN assessment will be, especially with the new App & Cloud standard just around the corner.” Nik went on to say, “We are up to a nine strong assessment team equally split between the U.S. and EMEA, with two more assessors in the pipeline for India and the U.S. There are many advantages of being part of an experienced group of assessors, not least in terms of flexibility and knowledge sharing which benefits both studios and vendors alike.”

“The level of remediation required from the security assessments shows that the TPN initiative is successfully driving increased security levels across the board, which has to be a win-win for all concerned,” said Janice Pearson, VP of the Americas at Convergent Risks.
