Ooyala Taps Google Cloud for Flex Media Platform (SCN)

Content supply chain solutions specialist Ooyala has partnered with Google Cloud to leverage that companies technologies for its Ooyala Flex Media Platform. Ooyala Flex Media Platform will run on the Google Cloud Platform, using Google Compute Engine for scalability and performance, Google Cloud Storage for secured storage, and the Google Cloud global network for content delivery.

Around the world, media companies are looking for ways to deliver and monetize their content faster, and with far greater flexibility and efficiencies.” said Ooyala CEO Jonathan Huberman. “Our collaboration with Google Cloud will further strengthen our position as a leading technology provider for global broadcasters and media companies.”
In a statement, the company noted that the partnership with Google Cloud will allow Ooyala’s Flex Media Platform to better empower media owners to automate video workflows, expand audiences globally, and scale their businesses.
