DXC Technology Keeps on Acquiring with System Partners Purchase

The latest company that DXC Technology plans to acquire is System Partners, a Sydney-based Salesforce Platinum partner, in a deal that DXC said Sept. 26 “builds on DXC’s digital transformation strategy and cloud-first focus.”

DXC didn’t say how much it’s paying for System Partners or when it expects the acquisition to be completed. System Partners is a Salesforce Platinum partner in Australia and New Zealand, and has offices in Canberra and Melbourne, in addition to its headquarters in Sydney.

Other recent acquisitions by DXC included M-Power Solutions, another Australian company – that one focused on Oracle cloud-based, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and business intelligence. At the time that deal was announced in March 2018, DXC said the M-Power brand would be integrated within the DXC Red Rock practice and build on DXC’s digital transformation strategy also.

DXC said a month later that it acquired Sable37, a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Value Added Reseller (VAR) and global independent software vendor of cloud-based industry solutions for Dynamics 365 with offices in Australia, New Zealand and other countries, and U.K.-based eBECS, a Microsoft Gold Partner delivering total Microsoft business solutions and managed services that help customers digitally transform their businesses.

The combination of DXC Eclipse with Sable37 and eBECS would “enable DXC to significantly expand its Dynamics 365 cloud capabilities” across the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, India, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the U.S. and Canada, DXC said at the time.

“Having a deep Salesforce capability is strategically important for DXC in Australia and New Zealand to support our existing customers and increase our relevance in the cloud environment,” Seelan Nayagam, managing director of DXC Technology in Australia and New Zealand, said in a news release. He added that, with more organizations using Salesforce and considering customer relationship management (CRM) replacements, System Partners “can lift DXC’s Salesforce capability in the region, as well as accelerate the growth of our Salesforce practice globally.”

System Partners provides Salesforce consulting services to enterprise businesses covering advisory, strategy mapping, end-to-end implementation services, tailored managed services and governance, DXC said. Those services are provided via a “unique delivery and diagnostic process” that DXC said “links business strategy, process, innovation and technology delivery to enhance client performance.”

System Partners will give DXC expanded capabilities in Salesforce implementations and managed services across the financial services, government, communications, media, utility and education sectors, according to DXC.

The purchase will “provide a mutually beneficial expanded reach, and will allow for cross-sell opportunities across the customer bases of both System Partners and DXC, arising from complementary offering portfolios and expanded service catalogues,” DXC said. With more than 100 Australia-based Salesforce certified experts, adding System Partners will also give DXC a “comprehensive portfolio across market leading” Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms, it said.

“Joining the DXC family will provide us with strategic support and enhanced capabilities that will benefit our team, our partners and our clients,” System Partners CEO Scott Bozic, said in the news release. He added: “We look forward to leveraging DXC’s deep industry capabilities and helping our clients with their business and digital transformation, in addition to the Salesforce expertise for which we are known and respected.”
