Spark Digital Adds Ed Cho as Principal (HITS)

Spark Digital has announced it has hired industry vet Ed Cho as principal working out of Los Angeles. Cho’s experience leading digital transformation in the media and entertainment industry makes him a tremendous asset to Spark Digital’s growing team of senior executives and consultants in the United States, and Los Angeles in particular, the company said.

“The team at Spark Digital and I share the same personal and professional values. We believe in doing what’s right for our clients and having some fun along the way,” said Cho about his reason for joining the firm.

“In this business, it’s rare for everything to always go to plan. Being at a firm that can consistently exceed client expectations even through adversity and setbacks is what I found at Spark Digital.”

Cho has spent nearly the entirety of his 17-year career in the media and entertainment and technology industries having previously been director of global operations at MarkMonitor, a leading provider of content security solutions and, prior to that, a 12-year tenure at Accenture where Ed led digital transformation and digital supply chain initiatives at Warner Bros., Microsoft, and eBay.

“By hiring Ed, we’ve instantly increased our expertise in the Media & Entertainment industry and our ability to deliver high-level consulting services to our clients,” said Chris Cali, co-founder and managing partner of Spark Digital.

“I’ve known Ed quite some time and have always been impressed with his calm, consultative and professional approach to hard problems. I’m thrilled we finally have him on our team.”
