Technicolor Adds Bajpai as VP, Finishing Artist (MESA)

Technicolor June 28 announced it’s added award-winning finishing artist Pankaj Bajpai to its Los Angeles studio as VP, finishing artist and business development. Bajpai comes over from Encore, where he served as senior colorist and SVP of business advancement.

“We are thrilled to have someone of Pankaj’s talent join our award-winning team of colorists,” said Sherri Potter, Technicolor’s president of worldwide postproduction. “The landscape of episodic content continues to evolve and at Technicolor we understand that we must continue to evolve how we serve our clients. The expansion of our colorist roster is just one way in which we will continue our evolution for our clients.”

Among Bajpai’s many credits include work on shows including “True Detective,” “Fear the Walking Dead,” “Sex and the City,” “House of Cards,” “Carnivàle,” “Olive Kitteridge,” “Justified,” and “Snowfall.” He brings a background in both film cinematography and digital post production to his new role.

“I’m thrilled to start a new chapter at such a vibrant time in our industry’s landscape,” Bajpai said. “With the support of Sherri and the team of artists and engineers at Technicolor, I’m excited to continue to push the boundaries of technology and creativity to bring our clients’ vision and passion to all screens, in all formats, for all to enjoy.”
