SAP Touts European HR Partnerships

SAP June 18 used its SuccessConnect event in Berlin to share several success stories with European companies that have tapped SAP to draw and retain top digitally-focused talent.

SAP SuccessFactors offers cloud-based HR management software solutions, using a software-as-a-service model, and is geared toward helping companies keep up with competitive hiring in the digital age.

“The global talent market has become extremely competitive, increasing business leaders’ mandate to create outstanding employee experiences supported by consumer-grade technology that addresses our repeatable work and allows us to focus more on what we’re passionate about at work,” said Greg Tomb, president of SAP SuccessFactors.

“SAP SuccessFactors solutions are designed with that employee experience in mind, but also with a global framework, because we know that in our ever-increasing legislative and regulatory environment around the world, our customers count on us to help keep them up-to-date and compliant.”

Among the European companies to recently tap SAP SuccessFactors’ solutions:

• European real estate and facility manager Apleona GmbH, which uses several SAP SuccessFactors products, including Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Compensation and Succession & Development, to attract and retain the talent and simplify HR processes.

• Atotech Deutschland GmbH, a plating chemicals, equipment and services provider with more than 4,000 employees. The Germany-based firm uses the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals and SAP SuccessFactors Learning solutions, along with the SAP Jam collaboration platform, to centralize HR processes.

• Spanish retail bank CaixaBank S.A. selected SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite — including SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP Jam — to both increase operational efficiency and reduce development costs.

• Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. tapped numerous SAP SuccessFactors services to transform its HR department.
