ZOO Digital Appoints New Head of Operations and Business Development for Asia (MESA)

ZOO Digital has appointed a new Head of Operations and Business Development, Asia to lead localization and distribution services in the region. Norie Negishi will join ZOO to help grow capacity in Asia after the company expanded its cloud dubbing services.
Norie joins ZOO with a 17-year track record with the Walt Disney Company in Asia Pacific including Studio Sales Distribution, Marketing, Publicity and working as Executive Director of Operations for Disney Character Voices International.
The appointment builds on recent strategic growth of ZOO’s cloud dubbing service in key territories in Asia. The role will involve working with dubbing directors, voice artists and potential partners to help ZOO’s clients access more talent and reach new audiences around the world. The latest appointment follows expansion in Latin American and Middle Eastern markets in the last six months as ZOO continues to recruit leading dubbing talent.
ZOO’s cloud-based dubbing service is receiving critical acclaim for the disruptive way in which it manages multi-language localization projects for TV and movie content owners, having already picked up three industry awards. The platform won TV Technology’s Best of Show Award at NAB 2017 followed by the Design and Innovation award for Post Production at IBC 2017. More recently, the cloud dubbing service received a prestigious BaM Award at NAB 2018.

Norie Negishi will join the ZOO team at BroadcastAsia 2018 (Stand 6K3-02) June 26 – 28 to demonstrate the industry’s first cloud dubbing service.
