FilmTrack Improves Workflows, Security for Organizations with Single Sign-On Access (HITS)

FilmTrack has announced the addition of Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality to its platform, empowering a more secure way to authenticate users across multiple applications. SSO allows organizations to better manage companywide applications, provides a heightened level of security and enables IT departments to easily manage users and align with company policies to safeguard their business.

The FilmTrack platform integrates with companywide ecosystems and can support identity providers such as OKTA, PingOne, Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and others for clients across the globe.

IT departments like SSO because users can be managed in one central place and routine tasks like password resets can be centralized. Users appreciate SSO since it improves their user experience by enabling them to easily access the multiple applications they use on a daily basis.

From production to legal, various departments within the Media and Entertainment Industry make use of several platforms for their day-to-day operations. With SSO implemented across all applications, organizations become more efficient and better protected.

Senior Vice President of Product, Sam Straub, champions FilmTrack’s Single Sign-On functionality; “extending the FilmTrack platform to utilize identity providers such as OKTA, PingOne and Microsoft ADFS simplifies integrating our software into an organization and reduces friction for users and IT departments alike.”
