Larry is a Vice President in the Media Industry Group at GfK North America. He is responsible for the business in the western U.S. consisting of traditional and new media clients. Prior to GfK he spent a dozen years in research focused on the media industry most recently as Media, CPG and Sports VP/GM for social media research start-up, Colligent (short for collectively intelligent) and prior to that as a partner at his start-up research and consulting firm, The Loose Federation, where he pioneered innovative research that helped clients such as ABC, Turner Entertainment and Sports, People and The Golf Channel strengthen emotional connections with their target audience. He started his career as a very active customer of market research in brand management at Seagram and Coca-Cola where he successfully managed prominent brands such as Chivas Regal, Powerade and Tropicana.
