Al Meyers is a director with the Retail & Consumer Practice of PwC in the Texas market. He advises retail and supplier clients on strategy, operations, technology, financial and accounting issues. He resides in Dallas.

He has 30+ years of consulting experience assisting retailers and branded suppliers with strategic growth and productivity improvement initiatives.

Al was previously Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing, Business Development at Kantar Retail and was responsible for existing and new client relationships.

Prior to Kantar Retail, Al was with predecessor companies Retail Forward and Management Horizons/Division of Price Waterhouse, both retail consulting firms. Al also served as Director of Senn-Delaney/Arthur Andersen’s retail strategy consulting practice.

Al’s retail consulting experience includes developing strategies and implementation plans for improving market positioning, comp store sales, customer focus, competitive appeals and merchandising economics. Al’s experience with consumer products companies includes marketing, brand strategies, retail distribution and channel strategies, shopper insights, category management, introducing new products and advising clients on the success requirements for effective implementation of retail programs.

Al is a frequent speaker on retail trends at industry trade shows and conferences and is a regular contributor on retailing issues for publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Dallas Morning News, Furniture Today, The Fort Worth Star Telegram, The Austin Statesman, The Dallas Business Journal, and Advertising Age.

Al serves on the Board of Directors of the Retail Executives Association in Dallas and is on the faculty of the In-Store Marketing Institute in Chicago.

Al holds an MBA in finance from Michigan State University and a BA in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University.
