BluFocus Forms App Testing Division

Growth of App and Casual Game Industry Triggers Company Expansion

Testing and certification specialist BluFocus announces its formation of an app testing division, to meet the growing demands of the app and casual game industry.

Studios, app development companies, producers, and publishers worldwide are already tapping the new quality assurance division, according to the North Hollywood, Calif.-based company.

“We’re excited, once again, to expand and provide an increase in service for our clients,” says Paulette Pantoja, BluFocus CEO and founder, in a statement. Pantoja notes that the growth of the app industry “is causing a significant increase in competition, which, in turn, means that more attention and focus is needed on creating better quality apps and casual games.”

As it does to maintain its testing services for Blu-ray titles and other content, BluFocus will build its app division by continuously increasing its inventory of test devices – including (but not limited to) mobile phones, tablets, PCs, set-top boxes, and other smart devices.

“Our consulting expertise, in addition to our highly skilled testing abilities, enables us to work with our clients’ development teams to ensure that their applications are of the highest caliber before they reach the market,” Pantoja continues. “This means better ratings, more new and repeat customers, and referrals for our clients.”

The app testing services are available globally on a 24/7 basis, BluFocus says.
