The Second Entertainment Security Summit, produced by Variety Magazine and CDSA, the International Content Security Association, has been announced for December 8, 2011 at the Universal Hilton.  The industry’s largest and most influential gathering of executives from across entertainment will deliver an update on the global environment of piracy, cyber-attack and showcase how content holders are grasping the challenge as an opportunity with the launch of new, disruptive business models, and remarkable innovation.

The program is chaired by Richard Atkinson, a recognized expert and consultant in the areas of media piracy, business and technology strategy and consumer experience, Richard created and ran Disney’s Anti-Piracy Operations team for six years, was a technology innovator for famed Walt Disney Imagineering, and served as Chief Communications Technologist for Northrop Grumman.
