Responsibilities

NexGuard is currently looking for a System Engineer (Technical Account Manager) to reinforce its Operations team based in Los Angeles (Burbank). The successful candidate will be working on the deployment and support of NexGuard forensic watermarking solutions in B2B video production workflows (e.g. Hollywood studios, HBO, etc), B2C broadcast delivery (e.g. broadcasters) or for streaming (e.g. OTT content providers).

This position will give you the unique opportunity to work on award-winning products deployed at the major Hollywood studios, original content owners, post-production houses, Pay TV operators and online video platform.

Function, Profile & Responsibilities

The responsibilities for the System Engineer include:

Provide timely support for any issues or fixes needed by the client with any of our products.
Deliver and commission products and software on time with regards to contractual commitments.
Build good direct relationships with our customers technical contacts and learn to understand their needs.
Prevent issues before they arise by being proactive and regularly scheduling technical reviews/audits and on-site visits.
Get feedback from clients as to what their priority product requests are and forward to sales, marketing and development for future releases.
Provide Technical support to our Pre-Sales team for building architectures and system proposals.

Requirements / Profile

Education, Experience, Skills & Abilities:

The preferred candidate will possess the following education, experience, skills and abilities:

4-year Bachelor’s degree in science or technological field with 5 to 15 years of industry experience
Good IT background, comfortable upgrading servers, both OS and hardware
Knowledge of Linux environments
Scripting or programming (python for instance)
A proactive attitude in supporting customers
Great communications skills
Background in audio, video and streaming (OTT)

The following skills/experience would be appreciated:

Cloud (Amazon AWS for instance)
Post Production experience
