Senior Manager, Cloud Security Architect

Responsibilities:
Collaboratively work with a vendor, client staff and contractors to implement a secure AWS IaaS solution.
Have an in-depth understanding of security, public cloud security, and networking best practices.
Ability to design security architecture, incorporating AWS native and cloud based security solutions
Conduct daily operation and management of the new cloud platform, including event monitoring, reporting, remediation and resolution.
Administer platform interface controls and other configuration capabilities via GUI or CLI
Responsible for data security and compliance for all cloud interfaces.
Investigate, tailor, recommend, and implement architectural and procedural CSA, ISO, or NIST best practices.
Document results in technical briefings, reports, and present results to client staff
• Ability to work with customer and AWS, to validate the security solution prerequisites and requirements readiness.
• Develop the security solution detailed architecture to incorporate, network security, firewall, web-application defenses, end-point security, and SEIM.
• Document necessary deliverable, including, HLD, LLD and implementation plan / playbooks & configuration documentation, project plans, risk / mitigation plan.
• Coordinate knowledge transition of security solutions to Cognizant Security support team
• Prepare exhaustive KT documentation and share implemented setup with operations team
5+ years of relevant IT/security experience
2+ years of AWS native security modules, NGFW, WAF, SIEM, Application Security, and/or relevant other security appliance experience
At least one of the following: CISSP, AWS CSA, AWS CSP, CISA, or security/IT degree B.S. or higher degree
Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Team-oriented with ability to work within a collaborative and matrixed environment
Experience in securing Financial / Banking business environment
Security solution design and implementation within cloud or other security appliance
