What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for establishing and implementing security standard methodologies, conducting penetration tests, implementing PKI across various components, and automating security tests to be included in Continuous Integration and Development (CI/CD) methodology. Cloud Platform and Services Group (CPSG) at Cisco focuses on driving cloud management and network orchestration products and providing solutions/reference architectures for multi cloud environments.

As a Security Lead Engineer, you will be part of an agile, dynamic, high-energy and committed team to deliver the best of Class Solution to Next Generation Enterprise Network Alliance (NGENA), a company that is building a global network forging alliance with Premier ISPs across every region of the global. The technology platform features a highly standardized, globally shared overlay and underlay network infrastructure powered by technologies including: Cisco’ Viptela SD-WAN, NFV in cloud and on premise, global services orchestration, software defined network and security services, NFV Infrastructure with high performance Metacloud (managed Open Stack solution) delivered as a Service, all wrapped in a secure solution at global scale.
Who You Are

You will need to have 10 plus years of industry experience in Security and Networking related areas
3 plus years of scripting language preferably Python
3 plus years of running security vulnerability, penetration testing using advanced tools
Operating system (Linux) fundamentals and secure configuration
Knowledge of networking technologies and protocols
Problem solving, troubleshooting, and debugging

Desirable skills:

Knowledge of Openstack port security and security groups
Cryptographic algorithm design and review
Software vulnerability assessment, fuzzing, and code coverage analysis
Custom exploit development
Virtualization platforms and techniques
Web application security
Web protocols and basic web development
Secure development practices
