As a Policy Enforcement Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our team delivers and achieves performance goals for assigned policy areas. By appropriately removing violating content, while ensuring that good content isn’t affected, you’ll help in implementing and enforcing our policies across millions of videos. As such, you’ll define the operational plan and implement it globally, working with stakeholders in Engineering, Vendor Operations, Analytics, Policy and Legal.

You’ll also ensure that we deliver innovations to automate where appropriate, while also improving quality. You will also act as an escalation point for the Vendor team when they encounter complex cases.

Responsibilities

Deliver performance end-to-end (quality, productivity and cost) for given policy area, in partnership with key cross-functional partners. Drive data-based decisions and implement key changes to improve performance.
Analyze, identify, prioritize and deliver operational improvement opportunities (specifically around end-to-end workflows). Identify, articulate and quantify impact of required tool changes to deliver operational improvement opportunities.
Handle escalations from vendors in relation to complex cases or queries and use that input to feed into operational improvement plans. Review graphic, controversial or sometimes offensive video content as required.
Partner with Policy, Engineering, Vendor operations, and Analytics team to define the best strategy and implement this strategy in a timely manner.
Review online content and have the ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations/shifts as required (including working on holidays and shift rotations).

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:

Experience working with SQL.
Experience in internet services, consulting, process improvement, or other relevant work experience.
Experience in project and process management, including leading cross-functional projects. Analytical experience using data to drive strategy and business actions.
Ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations/shifts as required (including working on holidays and shift rotations.)

Preferred qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in content policy, anti-abuse or customer support operations, in particular reviewing content and/or answering user questions, and working with vendors.
Experience managing complex scaled enforcement projects and investigations (i.e. analysis and feature extraction of data, Machine Learning model development, etc.) from creation to delivery consistently.
Ability to build strong relationships with cross functional partners, across geographies.
Strong business judgment and excellent influencing and communication skills.
