Marketing Manager, Rights & Royalties

Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. This role will be focused on managing and executing all marketing activities associated with specific product solutions related to our Rights & Royalties line of business. Responsibilities include the management of corporate communications, website content and collateral development, trade shows and events, print and online advertising, lead generation and social media campaigns to maximize demand for our Rights & Royalties solutions for the film & TV, music and brand licensing sectors.

Responsibilities

Oversees, manages and performs all marketing communications between London and L.A. offices while maintaining adherence to corporate style and brand guidelines
Develops and maintains campaign calendar around industry events, tradeshow and advertising opportunities
Manages campaign execution, generates email content, distribution lists and promotional materials for all events
Creates and maintains marketing collateral and sales materials such as postcards, brochures, feature sheets and presentations for sales and event activities; works with vendors for quoting and printing, and manages inventory of digital assets
Performs market research on trade shows and events to justify attendance; manages show logistics and booth requirements; coordinates exhibits and signage;
Manages online advertising and PPC campaigns; website to ensure content remains relevant; contributes to Vistex blog and wider corporate SEO initiatives; manages and supports webinars
Develops case studies and works closely with account managers and customers to gain approval
Promotes market awareness via creation of press releases, editorial copy, and newswire services
Produces social media content and postings; executes on media campaigns and delivers content via LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and email
Produces customer and prospect newsletters
Researches media and trade publication opportunities; reviews advertising and editorial calendars for placement; executes and designs
Manages budget and measures effectiveness of marketing efforts and generates reports; makes recommendations for improvement
Ensures brand alignment and messaging is consistent with global marketing strategy and initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Communications or similar discipline
5-7 years of experience in marketing management role
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite required
Attention to detail and willingness to push good ideas forward
Microsoft Office expertise required
Good organization and communication skills
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong oral and written communications skills
Proven ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks on schedule
Ability to travel

Travel:

This position is based in Hoffmann Estates, IL and will require 15-25% travel to London and L.A. offices

Highly Desired Skills:

Experience in either brand licensing, or media and entertainment
Experience in software industry a plus
Experience managing a product portfolio
