Purpose
Box is doubling down its investments in security. In order to support our rapid growth, we are looking for a hands-on leader to support our Security Incident Response team. Our SIRT team is our first line of defense, responsible for security monitoring, threat detection, event management, and incident response. As manager, you will level up our detection and response capabilities by providing an eye towards automation and creative problem-solving.

Who you are
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering or IT related field or equivalent and 5+ years related experience.
  • You have 2+ years of management or team lead responsibilities in security monitoring, and/or incident response handling.
  • You are analytical and have the ability to synthesize the big picture and detailed technical issues rapidly and accurately to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Passionate about supporting, leading and mentoring people – you have a track record of building highly effective teams.
  • You love to learn and are passionate about staying current with new and upcoming technologies.
