iOS Developer

As an iOS Engineer, you will be a key member of our Cocoa development team responsible for native iOS, Apple TV, and set-top products at PIX. Our apps are used by some of the most creative and visually acute users on the planet – feature film directors, visual effects artists, movie & television producers, and studio executives. PIX is installed at virtually every major studio and production facility so you will have major impact on software that goes into making shows and movies you and your friends likely watch.
Responsibilities
Be a key contributing member of the Cocoa development team
Design and implement features on one or more PIX applications for iOS and Apple TV
Build shared components across applications
Specify and develop interfaces to the PIX Service backend APIs
Coordinate with Product teams on feature specification and delivery
Requirements
BA / BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum 2+ years work experience building iOS applications
Demonstrated knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, Cocoa Touch, and Instruments
Experience with network-based applications and/or frameworks
Familiar with development tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, or equivalents
Demonstrated knowledge of the entire software development life-cycle
Commitment to solid software engineering principles and agile development
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Must be willing to work at the HQ location in San Francisco
Nice to Haves
Experience with AVFoundation and/or other multi-media technologies
Experience with Apple TV applications
Experience with macOS applications
