Applications Developer
MarkLogic
We are seeking an analytical, self-motivated Applications Developer, to provide IT support for MarkLogic’s SalesForce.com implementation and other additional internal applications.
The Applications Developer is responsible for implementing and maintaining a wide variety of internal and external applications serving various business units promoting overall company productivity and efficiency. The position joins the Enterprise Applications team and supports the IT department requirements for system administration, system deployment automation, end-user support and workflow management. Primary responsibility will be development, customization and maintenance of SalesForce.com and other internal applications using VisualForce, Python and Javascript,.
Knowledge of Cloud Based CRM applications and a variety of scripting languages is required to effectively manage the position’s responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Assist with Administering and supporting SFDC for full end-to-end sales processes.
Effectively translate business requirements into systems solutions.
Plan, create and execute unit testing User Acceptance Testing and deployments.
Provision and maintain proper user access across functional areas.
Manage release preview business process testing for Salesforce upgrades.
Maintain key system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity
Develop and enhance reporting tools/applications for monitoring the internal and external networks and other systems within the organization.
Work with various groups within the company to coordinate and implement new applications and projects.
Develop and maintain applications based on the MarkLogic Server product and related APIs and interfaces providing solutions for document and data management requirements.
Required:
1-2 years of hands on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud administration and development including Apex, VisualForce, Triggers, Workflow, Approval Processes, Apex, Test Classes, Controllers, Reporting, Custom Objects, Assignment rules and integration with 3rd party systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate with cross-function teams.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving environment.
Occasional travel for user training/setup.
Presence in the office on a regular basis during normal business hours.
1+ years’ experience with Javascript, Java, Python, MySql and related technologies.
1+ years’ experience with data analysis applications (Java/Python).
1+ years’ experience with web UI.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (MIS, Computer Science).
Desirable:
Salesforce certifications are highly preferred.
Experience with server side Javascript.
Experience with RESTful application integration.
User interface programming/user experience design experience.
