Vicki Lins is an award-winning marketer, with more than twenty-five years of experience in the media, technology and telecom sectors. She has expertise in building and distinguishing brands, a strong track record of strategic market development and growth, and an in-depth understanding of the transformational impact of technology on media, advertising and consumer engagement.
As president and CEO of CTAM, Vicki is focused on bringing content providers, distributors and suppliers together to deliver best-in-class consumer experiences and market from a national position. She oversees numerous hallmark CTAM initiatives, including the industry-wide TV Everywhere collaboration and the MSO Mover Marketing initiative. She serves on the board of the CTAM Educational Foundation, which is responsible for the acclaimed Cable Executive Management at Harvard Business School program.
Prior to CTAM, Vicki was the executive vice president & chief marketing officer of United Way Worldwide, where she led global brand strategy, integrated marketing and strategic communications. Previous to that, she was executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Clear Channel Outdoor, guiding the transformation of out-of-home advertising into one of today’s most effective mediums.
Many in the industry remember Vicki as having spent 15 years with Comcast and Canoe Ventures, where she built a national marketing organization for local ad sales, launched the Comcast Spotlight brand, pioneered Video On Demand advertising, and developed a consumer brand for interactive TV.
She holds a M.A. in Communication Management from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California and serves on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Commonwealth University Brandcenter, which earned the title of “The World’s Most Creative School.”
