STEM Advantage

Lee Ann Kline is President & Founder of STEM Advantage and an Associate Director on the Americas Talent Team at EY. She has held business and technology roles at IBM, Scient, MetLife and EY, and seen firsthand the lack of diversity in technology roles. She has a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Lee Ann founded STEM Advantage to mentor, prepare and inspire young women and underserved communities to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through paid internships, mentorships and scholarships. STEM Advantage partners with the California State University (CSU), the largest and most ethnically diverse public university system in the nation. Board members leverage their contacts to help level the playing field for students attending a public university who have talent, but don’t have the opportunity and network of students attending a private university. STEM Advantage has been honored by the Los Angeles Business Journal as Nonprofit Team of the Year, Society for Information Management as Best STEM Nonprofit, and Women in Technology| Hollywood.
