Shelley Klingerman is the Executive Director of Launch Terre Haute, a co-work space and collaborative think tank for business leaders and start-ups and the founder of a start-up group, Savvy Femme, a program that discusses current events and empowers women through education and training by partnering with law enforcement trainers and former members of special operation units.  She received her BS in Marketing from Indiana State University and her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has demonstrated her progressive leadership over a 20+ year career providing marketing, brand awareness, and project management to a multitude of industry. Her entrepreneurial spirit has been captured through the opening of her own clothing boutique and a yoga studio in Downtown Terre Haute, Indiana, and through the founding of the Stiletto Agency, a firm specializing in everyday vigilance, team building and leadership development.  She produced a school security documentary, “Terror in American Schools: Are Your Kids Safe?”, which discusses the reality of potential harm to students and outlines methods of preparation in order to maintain their safety in times of crisis.   Klingerman has presented and screened her documentary at various homeland and school security conferences. Additionally, she has sat on the Boards of the Humane Association, the American Marketing Association, the Startup Ladies, the Terre Haute Economic Restructuring Committee, Downtown Terre Haute, Inc, St. Patrick’s School Commission and the Wabash Valley Base Community Council.

She completed a 100hr. WarriorFit yoga certification in September ’16 to work specifically with the Veteran population and is organizing a Veterans Meetup group to coach Veterans on how to transfer their specialized military training to the job market or create a new business.

Klingerman is married with three children.
