Jeffrey Weber is CEO of ZoneTV, the leader in bridging the world of OTT and Pay TV.
ZoneTV works with some of the largest operators in the world to deliver the best digital-first content packaged as channels for the Pay TV ecosystem. ZoneTV enhances the Pay TV experience for audiences by delivering an advanced viewing experience through its proprietary user interface, which combines linear and on-demand features with personalized viewing. ZoneTV is committed to positioning itself as an essential advanced TV partner for Pay TV operators.
He was formerly president, content & advertising at AT&T U-verse, where he was responsible for all content acquisition, including U-verse TV, wireless and broadband. He was also responsible for the advertising business across TV, mobile, broadband and data. Prior to that, as vice president, video products, Weber was responsible for video, including TV, multi-screen initiatives and applications. His responsibilities included defining and bringing to market the Internet access product line, the programming made available to customers, the electronic program guide (EPG), video on demand (VOD), mobile and broadband content delivery, gaming and other interactive applications. He was also responsible for product development and strategy for the above areas.
Weber led the initial corporate strategy effort that resulted in the deployment and ultimate success of U-verse at AT&T before moving into the product role. He was a key player with U-verse since its launch in 2006, and saw the business grow from no revenue or customers to more than 5M TV subscribers and a $12 billion-plus annual run rate on the platform.
Previous to his role at AT&T, Weber was instrumental growing the internet business at Southwestern Bell. In addition, he held roles in IT, sales, strategy, network operations and marketing addressing products including TV, data, wireless and wireline services. He also launched and grew the second PCS market in the U.S. during his time at Sprint PCS.
Weber is a native of Norman, Oklahoma. He received an MIS degree from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.
