RSG Media Hires Gross as Chief Revenue Officer (MESA)

RSG Media’s CEO Mukesh Sehgal has announced two changes to the company’s executive team as part of its ongoing business transformation. Michael Gross has joined the company to serve as Chief Revenue Officer. David Hoffman, who had been serving as Interim Vice President of Marketing, will fully assume the position.

As Chief Revenue Officer, Mr. Gross will lead all revenue generating activity for RSG Media’s solutions and serve as financial advisor to the firm. “RSG Media’s customers are industry leading M&E enterprises with complex businesses,” stated Mr. Sehgal.

“So, what that effectively means is, we must maintain focus on providing them desirable business outcomes and not just software in order to deliver real results for them. Michael is a tremendous asset to our organization because he acutely understands this. His experience as a top industry executive enables him to help our clients realize maximum value from our technology and thought leadership.”

“I’m eager to roll up my sleeves and help drive RSG Media forward,” said Mr. Gross. “There are a lot of companies out there seeking easy-to-use analytics for advertising, marketing, programming decisions, and more. I’ve seen first-hand, having worked in the M&E industry, the high impact that RSG Media’s solutions have and I’m excited to be a part of the company’s journey. I look forward to helping show our value to the marketplace.”

Mr. Gross has over 10 years of Media & Entertainment experience with leadership positions in the industry and consulting. He most recently served as SVP, Revenue Strategy & Analytics at Discovery, Inc. Prior to Discovery, Mr. Gross was a management consultant at Ernst & Young for 10 years.

Mr. Hoffman will move from Vice President, Business Development to his new role of Vice President, Marketing. He will be responsible for strategic marketing in the next phase of RSG Media’s transformation as a media technology company focused on deep analytics, AI, enterprise systems, and expert advisory services. “David has been a valuable contributor since joining our company,” Sehgal said. “His background in new business development has contributed to several important strategic projects, as well as to the enhancement of our brand. He has been an important contributor while serving as Interim Vice President of Marketing during the last 6 months, and we look forward to working with him in this new, challenging and important capacity.”

Both Mr. Gross and Mr. Hoffman will be based in RSG Media’s New York City office.
