Capgemini Names Two New Chief Operating Officers (MESA)

Capgemini said Thursday that it has appointed Thierry Delaporte and Aiman Ezzat as chief operating officers and executive corporate officers, effective Jan. 1, 2018. The French information-technology company said that the appointments are part of preparations for a management transition announced by Chief Executive Paul Hermelin at the 2017 shareholders meeting.

Delaporte has served as head of Capgemini’s financial services strategic business unit since 2012 and has overseen the company’s operations in Latin America since 2016. He joined the company in 1995 as group internal auditor for its subsidiary Sogeti.

Ezzat has been chief financial officer at Capgemini since 2012 and previously served as the global head of the financial services global business unit.

Mr. Hermelin said that the appointments would help the company strengthen its customer focus and competitiveness.
