MESA’s Spring ‘M&E Journal’ Goes Live

The spring edition of the “M&E Journal,” published by the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA), and geared toward senior media and entertainment executives who oversee their companies’ digital futures, is now available as a digital download.

The 132-page production features insights from nearly 40 MESA members, from 3rd I QC to Zaszou IT Consulting.

Broken up in four industry areas — “Smart Content,” “New Workflows,” “Data Driven” and “Security Solutions” — the “M&E Journal” also features columns from companies including Technicolor and Video Gorillas, along with thought pieces from MESA’s executive leadership.

Here’s a quick look at what’s included in each section:

• For “Security Solutions,” Blake White and Richard Delia with Cognizant Business Consulting looks at the necessary human element needed to strengthen digital content workflow and systems security.

• In “New Workflows” Steven Herrera with Zaszou IT Consulting shares how streaming services today must invest in content that caters to the diverse tastes and preferences of consumers worldwide.

• In “Data Driven” Sebastian Souyris with RSG Media offers ideas on how data science can help fine tune content mix, scheduling and ad pricing.

• In the area of “Smart Content” Ben Bendre and Noah Beltran with IBM look at how content creators and owners, distributors and everyone involved with the digital media supply chain can find new revenue streams from their assets, by leveraging the power of AI to build better metadata.

Beginning Tuesday, June 6, look for stories from the spring edition of the “M&E Journal” every week in the “M&E Daily” newsletter.
