Media Science International Selects Hybrik for Cloud Encoding (HITS)

Media Science International today announced that it has selected Hybrik to power its StudioCDN service. StudioCDN ensures the delivery of secure, fully-trackable, digitally-stamped media assets. “Hybrik’s cloud transcoding system allows us to rapidly respond to large customer requirements,” said Graham Oakes, CEO, Media Science International. “The features, performance, and cost-effectiveness of Hybrik made this an easy choice.”

MSI is a pioneer in the world of watermarking and digital delivery. Its StudioCDN service is used by some of the largest content owners in the world to ensure early access to content can be safely shared with journalists and partners. Each delivered piece of content is individually watermarked for the recipient and tracked during delivery and playback. StudioCDN currently delivers more than 2 million watermarked media assets each month.

“The secure management and delivery of early-access assets is a critical piece of the content production workflow,” said David Trescot, CEO of Hybrik. “We are excited to be working with MSI to accelerate their encoding process in the cloud.”

Hybrik’s large-scale transcoding platform is in use by some of the largest media companies in the world. Its service is based on Amazon’s AWS cloud platform and provides transcoding, quality control, accelerated file transfer, large-scale storage, and streaming to deliver superb video optimized for every screen.
