PwC Taps McCaffrey as New U.S. Tech, Media, and Telcom Lead

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) April 7 announced it’s named Mark McCaffrey as its new sector leader for U.S. technology, media and telecommunications, giving him oversight of the firm’s team advising clients in the technology, media and telecommunications industries.

McCaffrey most recently served as the PwC’s global software industry leader, as well as the global engagement partner on several of PwC’s larger multinational software and services clients. During his tenure with PwC, he’s sponsored various thought leadership initiatives, including the “U.S. MoneyTree Report,” the “Software Revenue Recognition Boot Camp,” as well as the “Global Software 100 Survey.” A frequent speaker at industry conferences, McCaffrey also hosts annual workshops for financial and operational executives and board members.

“As innovation continues to drive cross-sector disruption, it’s both an exciting and challenging time for our clients, who are faced with ongoing convergence and a fast-changing, digitally consumer-driven market,” McCaffrey said. “Drawing upon my deep experience in New York and Silicon Valley, I’m honored to lead this talented group of professionals who have their fingers on the pulse of the industry and are enabling clients to navigate the evolving technology, media and telecom landscape.”

A graduate of Pace University, Mark is chairman of the board at the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose and a board advisor to Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream Foundation.
